A lot of the Content Warning usage I see here on Mastodon seem more like metadata in place of tags, or like titles, and not as a way to warn readers about offensive content.
Am I just not sensitive to what ought to be considered offensive, or is there something to this? Couldn’t tags be used more effectively to filter out content individuals consider offensive instead of misusing CW like this?
